Terms of Service

1. Deposit and Payments

A $100 deposit is required upon enrolment.
The remaining balance must be paid either:
- In full prior to the term start, or
- Through a 9-week direct debit plan.
An invoice will be sent prior to the term commencement, detailing payment options and due dates.

2. General Terms and Conditions

Tutoring sessions run for 45 or 60 minutes weekly.
All accounts must be paid in full or up to date for sessions to proceed. Unpaid accounts will result in the suspension of tuition until resolved.
Sessions will be scheduled in advance at a time mutually convenient for Aced It Tutoring, the Parent/Guardian, and the Student.
Cancellations by the Parent/Guardian still incur the session fee.
Missed or cancelled lessons:
- Cancellations with 24+ hours’ notice: Receive a make-up lesson credit, valid for 2 weeks.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: No make-up credit.
- A maximum of 2 make-up credits per term is allowed.
  f) By enrolling, you agree to the full term fees. Withdrawals mid-term will forfeit all paid fees, and remaining term fees will still apply under direct debit agreements.
Exceptions for extreme circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

3. Pick-up and Drop-off

Public parking is available at all locations; please contact your local Head Tutor for assistance if needed.
Children aged 10 and under must:
- Be checked in by a parent/guardian at the session start.
- Be collected promptly from the same location at session end.
Please arrive on time for drop-off and collection, as we are unable to supervise children outside their scheduled session times.

4. Ongoing Tutoring Agreement

4.1 Agreement to Proceed

By submitting your enrolment, you enter into an Ongoing Tutoring Agreement with Aced It Tutoring.

4.2 Acceptance of Agreement

By checking your acceptance of these terms, you acknowledge your responsibility for adhering to this agreement and its payment terms.

4.3 Termination of Agreement

You may terminate this agreement with 4 weeks’ written notice.
Aced It Tutoring may terminate the agreement if:
- Payments are not made,
- A conflict of interest arises,
- Confidence in the service relationship is lost, or
- For other just cause.
Notice of termination will be provided with at least 14 days’ notice.
Upon termination, you are responsible for fees incurred up to the date of termination.

5. Costs and Payments

Fees are outlined in your invoice, sent 4 weeks prior to term start. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
Payments can be made via direct debit. Details will be provided with your enrolment confirmation.
Late payments may incur 20% interest on outstanding amounts.
If unable to make payments, please contact us immediately to discuss arrangements.
You agree to cover all reasonable costs (including legal fees) incurred in recovering unpaid amounts

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Personal information is protected under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.
Information may be disclosed as required by law or to relevant professionals (e.g., accountants or legal advisers).
All consultations and services remain confidential, even after the termination of services.

9. Indemnity

Aced It Tutoring provides tutoring services on the understanding that neither Aced It Tutoring nor its staff can be held liable for any outcomes, loss, or actions resulting from recommendations, advice, or services rendered.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aced It Tutoring disclaims all liability arising out of or connected to its services.

By enrolling with Aced It Tutoring, you agree to these Terms of Service and the associated payment responsibilities.
